PowerShell 2.0 Is Not Present

PowerShell 2.0 was not detected on this computer. System Center Advisor requires PowerShell 2.0 to collect and analyze configuration data, as well as generate alerts.  Without PowerShell, you might be missing important alerts and have less information displayed in your configuration snapshot and configuration history views for this server.

You can install PowerShell by using the Add Features wizard in Server Manager. To install PowerShell, do the following:

1. Log on to the computer on which you want to install PowerShell.

2. Open the Start menu, click All Programs, click Administrative Tools, and then click Server Manager.

3. Click Features, click Add Features, click Administrative Tools, and then click Server Manager.

4. Select the Windows PowerShell check box, and then click Next.

5. On the Confirm Installation Selections page, click Install.

6. Click Close after the installation has completed.

7. Close Server Manager.
