Preparing for FIM CM Server Installation

As you can see in the Installation Requirements section, a FIM CM infrastructure requires that several server roles be available and functioning on the network before you can install the FIM CM server. The four major tasks that must be completed the FIM CM can be installed are covered in the following sections:

  1. Prepare the SQL Server to host the FIM CM database

  2. Prepare the FIM CM Agent Certificate Templates

  3. Prepare AD DS for FIM CM Installation

  4. Prepare IIS 7 for FIM CM
