IWMSServer::get_Version

The get_Version method retrieves the version number of the server.

Syntax

  HRESULT get_Version(
  BSTR*  pbstrVal
);

Parameters

pbstrVal

[out] Pointer to a BSTR containing the version information.

Return Values

If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK. If it fails, it returns an HRESULT error code.

Return code	Number	Description
E_POINTER	0x80004003	Indicates that pVal is a NULL pointer argument.

Remarks

Version information must be in an x.x.x.xxxx format and contain only numerals.
