Command Buttons

The command button control causes an application to perform an action when the user selects the button. On Windows Mobile-based Smartphones, only Microsoft Pocket Internet Explorer has command buttons. All other applications use soft keys.

Note   The command button control refers to software application buttons as opposed to hardware buttons or keys.

To conserve space, do not include an Apply command button in an application, because it requires an OK button. Instead, use only an OK button.

State Attributes

The following illustrations show the appearance of the command button control in various possible states.

Label Attributes

Limit the label to two words.

Use the 11pt, Nina bold font.
