Send Feedback

The Address property gets or sets the e-mail address of the recipient.

To set the value of the Address property, see the IRecipient::put_Address property method.

HRESULT get_Address(
  BSTR * ppwsz
);

    [out] Reference to the e-mail address.

    The method completed successfully.

Remarks

In the desktop version of Microsoft Outlook, the recipient address is read-only and can be set only with Resolve. Outlook Mobile might not have access to the Contacts database (for example, if it is only on the server), so its recipient address is both read and write.

You can also set the recipient address with the Resolve method of the IPOlRecipient interface.

The recipient address is a required property and cannot be set to NULL.
