NdisTerminateWrapper

This function releases system resources allocated when the network adapter driver called the NdisMInitializeWrapper function.

VOID NdisTerminateWrapper(
IN NDIS_HANDLE NdisWrapperHandle,
IN PVOID SystemSpecific );

Parameters

  • NdisWrapperHandle
    Specifies the handle returned by the NdisMInitializeWrapper function.
  • SystemSpecific
    Not used. Set to NULL.

Remarks

A miniport calls this function during initialization if it cannot find a network adapter that it supports in the current platform or if it cannot successfully initialize at least one network adapter or virtual network adapter.

The NDIS library cleans up the resources that it allocated if a miniport driver is unloaded after it has successfully initialized.

A driver should also call this function from its MiniportHalt function when its last network adapter is being removed.

Requirements

Runs on Versions Defined in Include Link to
