Uninstall_Init

The Uninstall_Init function is called before an application is uninstalled. This function can be used for custom operations such as closing the application if it is running.

Syntax

codeUNINSTALL_INIT Uninstall_Init(
  HWND hwndParent,
  LPCTSTR pszInstallDir
);

Parameters

  • hwndParent
    [in] Specifies a handle to the parent window.
  • pszInstallDir
    [in] Reference to a null-terminated string that contains the name of the application installation directory.

Return Values

  • codeUNINSTALL_INIT_CONTINUE
    Continue with uninstalling the application.
  • codeUNINSTALL_INIT_CANCEL
    Cancel uninstalling the application.

Remarks

This function is called during installation once the installation process has been completed.
