LVN_BEGINLABELEDIT

This notification message notifies a list view control parent window about the start of label editing for an item. It is sent in the form of a WM_NOTIFY message.

LVN_BEGINLABELEDIT pdi = (LV_DISPINFO FAR *) lParam;

Parameters

  • pdi
    Pointer to an NMLVDISPINFO structure. The item member of this structure is an LVITEM structure whose iItem member identifies the item being edited.

Return Values

TRUE prevents the user from editing the label. FALSE enables the user to edit the label.

Requirements

Runs on Versions Defined in Include Link to
Windows CE OS 1.0 and later Commctrl.h    

Note   This API is part of the complete Windows CE OS package as provided by Microsoft. The functionality of a particular platform is determined by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and some devices may not support this API.
