UnsafeNativeMethods.Vector3.TransformCoordinateArray(Vector3,Int32,Vector3,Int32,Matrix,Int32) Method (Microsoft.DirectX)

Transforms array (x, y, z, 1) by a given matrix, and projects the result back into w = 1.

Note: For programming in Microsoft Visual Basic .NET or Microsoft JScript .NET, use the equivalent method in the Microsoft.DirectX structures.

C# public static Vector3 TransformCoordinateArray(
    Vector3 pOut,
    int outStride,
    Vector3 pSource,
    int vectorStride,
    Matrix pSourceMatrix,
    int count
);
C++ public:

    Vector3 pOut,
    int outStride,
    Vector3 pSource,
    int vectorStride,
    Matrix pSourceMatrix,
    int count
);
JScript public static function TransformCoordinateArray(
    pOut : Vector3,
    outStride : int,
    pSource : Vector3,
    vectorStride : int,
    pSourceMatrix : Matrix,
    count : int
) : Vector3;

Parameters

pOut Microsoft.DirectX.Vector3
A Vector3 structure that represents the results of the method.
outStride System.Int32
Stride between vectors in the output data stream.
pSource Microsoft.DirectX.Vector3
Source Vector3 structure array.
vectorStride System.Int32
Stride between vectors in the input data stream.
pSourceMatrix Microsoft.DirectX.Matrix
Source Matrix structure.
count System.Int32
Number of elements in the array.

Return Value

Microsoft.DirectX.Vector3
A Vector3 structure that is the result of the method.

Remarks

This method transforms all vectors in the pSource parameter by the matrix pSourceMatrix, projecting the result back into w = 1.

The return value for this method is the same value returned in the pOut parameter. This allows you to use the TransformCoordinateArray method as a parameter for another method.
