Installing Group Chat

Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 and Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2 will reach end of support on January 9, 2018. To stay supported, you will need to upgrade. For more information, see Resources to help you upgrade your Office 2007 servers and clients.

To install Group Chat

  1. Start ClientSetup.exe.

  2. On the Welcome page, click Next.

  3. On the License Agreement page, review the agreement and, to accept the terms and continue with the installation, click I accept the terms in the license agreement, and then click Next.

  4. On the Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2 Group Chat Setup page, leave the default location as is or specify a different location, and then click Next.

  5. On the Confirm Installation page, click Next to begin the installation.
