Namespace: Microsoft.Office.Interop.UccApi
Assembly: Microsoft.Office.Interop.UccApi (in microsoft.office.interop.uccapi.dll)

Syntax

'Declaration
ReadOnly Property CapabilitiesCollection As IUccCollection
IUccCollection CapabilitiesCollection { get; }
property IUccCollection^ CapabilitiesCollection {
    IUccCollection^ get ();
}
/** @property */
IUccCollection get_CapabilitiesCollection ()
function get CapabilitiesCollection () : IUccCollection

Property Value

A value of the IUccCollection** (IUccCollection, for a .NET application) type. Each element of the resultant collection is an IUccPresenceCapabilities instance.

Remarks

A device can have one or more sets of capabilities. Each set describes the capabilities of a different resource (a computer, a PSTN phone, or a mailbox) used by a user. Each resource is identified by a particular URI. The URI associated with the user's computer could be "sip:john@contoso.com". The URI associated with the user's desktop telephone could be "TEL:+14255551111". The URI associated with the user's mailbox could be "someone@exchange.contoso.com". An application can use this property to examine or set the published device capabilities for all the resources attached to the user. Each element of the capabilities collection in this property describes the capabilities for one of the user's resources and is represented by an IUccPresenceCapabilities instance.

Win32 COM/C++ Syntax

HRESULT get_CapabilitiesCollection
(
   IUccCollection** ppCapabilities
);

Note

In a Win32 application, the return value of a method or property is always an HRESULT value indicating the status of the call to the interface member. Any result of the operation is returned as a parameter marked with the [out, retval] attribute. In contrast, in a .NET application the HRESULT value indicating an error condition is returned as a COM exception and the [out, retval] parameter becomes the return value. For the UCC API-defined HRESULT values, see Error Codes.

Thread Safety

All public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread-safe. Instance members are not guaranteed to be thread-safe.
