Gets the time this category instance was last published.

Property Value

A value of the DATE* (DateTime, for a .NET application) type.

Remarks

The value of the PublishedTime property for category instances published by the local user is zero. Category instances received due to a subscription or query on a remote user return non-zero values.

Note

Category instances published by federated (OC client in different enterprise) users may not supply a published time.

Note

In a Win32 application, the return value of a method or property is always an HRESULT value indicating the status of the call to the interface member. Any result of the operation is returned as a parameter marked with the [out, retval] attribute. In contrast, in a .NET application the HRESULT value indicating an error condition is returned as a COM exception and the [out, retval] parameter becomes the return value. Example

The example handles the OnCategoryInstanceValueModified. If the modified category instance was last published after the year 1900, the example code displays the time and date of the last publishing of the category instance on the local user's system console.
