Lync 2010 Controls

This topic introduces Microsoft Lync 2010 Controls that are used to integrate Microsoft Lync 2010 features such as search, presence, instant messaging (IM) calls, and voice calls, into applications.

You can drag Lync Controls into existing business applications to add Lync 2010 UI features and functionality. Use a single control or multiple controls.

Each Lync Control provides a specific Lync 2010 feature like search, presence, IM, and audio calls. The appearance of each control replicates the Lync 2010 UI for that feature.

The programming style is primarily XAML text, but you can also use any .NET language in the code-behind file to access the Microsoft Lync 2010 API and the .NET Framework.
