Disabled Element

When it is contained in an Act element, the Disabled element determines whether the command name is displayed on the shortcut menu.

When it is contained in a SmartTagDef element, the Disabled element determines whether the smart tag appears in the drawing window.

Possible values for the Disabled element in an Act element are shown in the following table.

Value	Description
0	Enable (make available) command name.
1	Disable (make unavailable) command name.

Possible values for the Disabled element in a SmartTagDef element are shown in the following table.

Value	Description
TRUE	The smart tag is disabled.
FALSE	The smart tag is enabled (the default).

Attributes

Unit

Optional string. Represents a unit of measure. The default is BOOL. For details about BOOL, see Units of measure.

F

Optional string. Represents the element's formula. This attribute can contain one of the following strings: "someFormula" if the formula exists locally, "No Formula" if the formula is locally deleted or blocked, or "Inh" if the formula is inherited.

If the attribute is not present, the element's formula is a simple constant. For example, <element>5</element>.

Err

Optional string. Indicates that the formula evaluates to an error. The value of Err is the current value (an error message string); the value of the element is the last valid value.

When a smart tag is disabled, it does not appear at all until it is re-enabled.

The Disabled element is relevant only when contained in a PageSheet or Shape element. It is ignored when contained in a DocumentSheet or StyleSheet element.
