  • Microsoft Data Engine
Select this box to include the Microsoft® SQL Server™ 2000 Desktop Engine in your application package. The desktop engine is a SQL Server 2000-compatible data storage server.

Note   Selecting the desktop engine box will significantly increase the size of the package because all of the desktop engine files are included in the package and are installed on the user's computer during setup.

  • Replication Manager
Select this box to include the Replication Manager in your application package. The Replication Manager is a tool used to display the topology of replicas in a replica set, and also used to configure the Jet Synchronizer for use in indirect and Internet synchronization.
