With the Access Workflow Designer for SQL Server, you can build integrated Web- and SQL Server-based team solutions. Teams members can share information more quickly and efficiently, easily tracking changes and managing the flow of information using SQL Server databases.

There are three core services provided by the Access Workflow Designer tools that teams can use to create team solutions: workflow, offline replication, and row-level security.

Service	Description
Workflow	A series of steps or business rules that comprise a business process. From issue tracking to expense reporting to manufacturing processes, almost any business process that needs to be tracked and easily modified can be improved using the Access Workflow Designer.
Offline Replication	A service that makes it possible for users to create a copy of the team solution on a local computer, work while disconnected from the network and then synchronize the offline changes with the original master database. Create customized offline publications with data filters that help users work offline.
Security	The ability to enhance solution security with row-level permissions based on database roles. In addition to Windows NT and SQL Server security options, your team solution can make it possible for end users to apply row-level permissions.
