Expanding panes in the Business Rules workspace

In the Business Rules workspace, you can expand and contract the Rule grid pane, the Scope pane, and the Rule expression pane to more easily view the information that you need. You can adjust the panes manually by using the mouse, or you can adjust them using the expand buttons. By using the buttons, you can expand all panes evenly, or you can expand an individual pane while contracting the others.

To expand all panes evenly

  1. In the Workspace Browser pane, click Models.

  2. In the Models table, click to open a model.

  3. Click the Business Rules tab.

  4. Click the Expand Panes Evenly button. Expanding all panes evenly expands each of the three panes evenly in the amount of space available.

To expand the rule grid pane

  1. In the Workspace Browser pane, click Models.

  2. In the Models table, click to open a model.

  3. Click the Business Rules tab.

  4. Click Expand Rule Grid Pane button. Expanding the rule grid pane maximizes the size of the pane while contracting the sizes of the Define scopes pane and the Rule expression pane.

To expand the Scope pane

  1. In the Workspace Browser pane, click Models.

  2. In the Models table, click to open a model.

  3. Click the Business Rules tab.

  4. Click Expand Scope Pane button. Expanding the Scope pane maximizes the size of the pane while contracting the sizes of the rule grid pane and the Rule expression pane.

To expand the Rule expression pane

  1. In the Workspace Browser pane, click Models.

  2. In the Models table, click to open a model.

  3. Click the Business Rules tab.

  4. Click the Expand Rule Expression Pane button. Expanding the Rule expression pane maximizes the size of the pane while contracting the sizes of the rule grid pane and the Scope pane.
