Variance calculations

Variance calculations are common calculations in all financial, sales, and other types of applications that compare different sets of data. For example, the calculation might compare current results with those of a prior year, or compare results from an Actual scenario to a Budget scenario.

  Calculates the percent of variance between two different scenarios, and determines whether the difference between scenarios is favorable or unfavorable.
