About the Exchange Rate dimension
The Exchange Rate dimension is a flat dimension that stores values of exchange rates that are used by an Exchange Rate Assumptions model. In addition, this dimension might be used by currency conversion calculations.
Dimension members
The Exchange Rate dimension has a single member property, ExchangeRateTypeID, with multiple attributes. The attributes specify how the exchange rate is to be calculated.
The following table describes the possible values for ExchangeRateTypeID.

User modifications in the Exchange Rate dimension
In the Exchange Rate dimension, users have some limits on their ability to modify or structure the predefined dimension members and other member sets.
Note
You cannot create a member hierarchy in the Exchange Rate dimension.
