About the Flow dimension
You can use members of the Flow dimension to track periodic changes in Balance Sheet accounts in financial models.
When used with the Account and Time dimensions in a model, the Flow dimension automatically performs predefined tasks. For example, at the close of a period, balances are automatically copied from the CLOSING member of the Flow dimension into the OPENING member for the following period.
Members of the Flow dimension have a single property, FlowTypeMemberID, which specifies the flow type.
