Gets or sets the text for the search query.

Property Value

Type: System.String
A string containing the query text.

Remarks

When setting the QueryText property for the FullTextSqlQuery class, you must use the SQL query syntax. For the KeywordQuery class, use the keyword syntax.

For FAST Search Server 2010 for SharePoint you can also specify the query in the FAST Query Language (FQL) syntax.
