The GetAlertCreationLink method of the ListitemAlertType class creates an Alert Me link for a SharePoint list item by using the specified parameters.

Parameters

page    Current HTTP context. This page creates Microsoft JScript blocks and form fields.

listitemId    The identifier for a list item.

listitemUrl    The URL of a list item that this alert describes.

listitemDisplayName    The display name for a list item that this alert describes.

parentListId    The unique identifier for the SharePoint list to which this item belongs.

parentListUrl    The URL for the SharePoint list to which this item belongs.

parentListDisplayName    The display name for the SharePoint list to which this item belongs.

parentWebTitle   The title of the web site for the SharePoint list to which this item belongs.

Return Value

A string that contains the URL to the new alert page.
