The Release method of the TopologyLock class releases a TopologyLock by calling the proc_dropPortalLock stored procedure in the configuration database.

Parameters

force   true to force the release attempt, even when the IsHeld property is false; otherwise, false.

Return Value

true if the request to release the lock succeeds; otherwise, false.
