CreateAlert(Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.Alerts.AlertType) Method

The CreateAlert method of the AlertCollection class creates an alert of the specified type and adds it to this collection.

Parameters

alertType  AlertType object that represents an alert type.

Return Value

A Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.Alerts.Alert object that represents the new alert.
