View an audit report for a Records Center site when you want to see the contents of the audit logs. You can sort, filter, and manipulate data in reports to analyze how that data is used within a site collection. For example, you can view an audit report that shows all events related to the expiration and disposition of records in a Records Center site.

Important

Membership in the Site Collection Administrators group for the Records Center site is the minimum required to complete this procedure.

View an audit report

  1. On the Records Center site, on the Site Actions menu, click Site Settings.

  2. On the Site Settings page, in the Site Collection Administration section, click Audit log reports.

  3. On the View Auditing Reports page, select the report you want to view from the list of available reports.
