To view site usage reports

Use this procedure to view site usage reports. You can view statistics about number of users, page requests, search queries, and referring and destination locations for visitors to your site. That information can be used to improve the performance and usefulness of the site.

View site usage reports

  1. On the site for which you want to produce usage reports, on the Site Actions menu, point to Site Settings, and then click Modify All Site Settings.

  2. On the Site Settings page, in the Site Administration section, click Site usage reports.

Note

The top-level sites for individual personal sites and the Shared Services Administration site provide different information in the site usage reports than other sites. For more information about the different types of site usage reports, see Monitor usage reports for personalization.
