Before you perform this procedure, confirm that:
- You have read the topic Administer content deployment paths and jobs.
At the minimum, you must be a member of the Farm Administrators SharePoint group to complete this procedure.
You can schedule a content deployment job by selecting the Run this job on the following schedule check box on the Edit Content Deployment Job page or Create Content Deployment Job page in the Frequency section.
You can schedule the job to run:
One time only
Every time-in-minutes minutes
Once per hour
Once per day
Once per week
Once per month
You can create schedules that are more complex by using the Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 object model. You can also clear the Run this job on the following schedule check box to start the job manually. For information about using the object model to create content deployment schedules, see How to: Deploy Content Between Servers (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=106221\&clcid=0x40).
Do not run content deployment jobs in parallel if the same site collection or site is used by both jobs.
