Cleaning up backups
Maintaining many computer backups can be useful if you need to restore a computer to a point in time in the past, but the backups can potentially take a lot of your server storage space.
If you want to clean up old backups now rather than wait for the regular maintenance to occur, click Clean Up Now on the Backup page of Windows Home Server Settings. Old computer backups that fall outside the Automatic Backup Management settings are permanently deleted, and those marked Keep this backup are kept.
Note
This can take several hours to complete, depending on how many old backups you have.
