Applying 3-D Effects (Report Builder)

Applying three-dimensional (3-D) effects to your chart gives depth to your charts. Using available options, you can emphasize different aspects of the chart. For example, if you want to emphasize a particular slice of an exploded pie chart, you can rotate and change the perspective of the chart so that your report readers notice that slice first.

Charts can be rotated horizontally and vertically from -90 to 90 degrees. The perspective of the chart can be rotated 100%. In addition, you can change the shading of the data series; adjust the thickness of the chart background, and other styling options. These effects cannot be applied to text.
