Logs on a user and authenticates a user request to the Report Server Web service.

Parameters

userName
The name of the user.

password
The password for the user.

authority
The specific authority to use when authenticating a user.

cookieName
The name assigned to the cookie.

Return Value

true if the user was successfully authenticated; otherwise, false.
