Publication.Script Method

Generates a Transact-SQL script that can be used to re-create the publication as specified by the script options.

Parameters

scriptOption
A ScriptOptions enumeration value that specifies the scripting options.

Return Value

A String that contains the Transact-SQL script that defines the publication.

Remarks

The scriptOption parameter determines whether to return a creation script or a deletion script. This method can be used for an existing object or a new object.

This namespace, class, or member is supported only in version 2.0 of the .NET Framework.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Microsoft Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
