ReplicationMonitor.EnumErrorRecords Method

Returns information on errors associated with a specified error ID that occurred during a synchronization session.

Parameters

  • distributionDatabase
    A String value that specifies the distribution database.
  • errorId

Return Value

A DataSet object that contains the following columns.

Identifies the source of the error.

source_name

The name of the error source.

error_code

The error code.

error_text

String

The message text for the error.

Date and time that the error occurred.

error_type_id

Int32

Type of error that occurred.

has_xact_seqno

Boolean

If the error has a corresponding transaction log sequence number.

xact_seqno

Byte[]

The starting transaction log sequence number of the failed execution batch.

command_id

Int32

The command ID of the first command in the failed execution batch.

Remarks

Commit any property changes to the ReplicationMonitor object before calling this method, because properties of this object may need to be loaded if they have not been loaded already.

The EnumErrorRecords method can only be called by members of the db_owner or replmonitor fixed database roles on the distribution database.

This namespace, class, or member is supported only in version 2.0 of the .NET Framework.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Microsoft Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
