WebServiceTask Constructor

Initializes a new instance of the WebServiceTask class.

Namespace: Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Tasks.WebServiceTask
Assembly: Microsoft.SqlServer.WebServiceTask (in microsoft.sqlserver.webservicetask.dll)

Syntax

'Declaration
Public Sub New
public WebServiceTask ()
public:
WebServiceTask ()
public WebServiceTask ()
public function WebServiceTask ()

Remarks

The code sample shows how to call the task constructor. However, in most cases, you will be creating the task as a member of a package. For more information on casting the task, see the remarks in Add.

Package pkg = new Package();
Executable exec1 = pkg.Executables.Add("STOCK:WebServiceTask");
TaskHost th = exec1 as TaskHost;
// You can cast the InnerObject of the TaskHost
// to the specific class.
// For the code samples, that task properties are accessed using
// the Properties of the TaskHost.
// WebServiceTask myTask = th.InnerObject as WebServiceTask;
Dim pkg As Package = New Package()
Dim exec1 As Executable =  pkg.Executables.Add("STOCK:WebServiceTask")
Dim th As TaskHost = exec1 as TaskHost
' You can cast the InnerObject of the TaskHost
' to the specific class.
' For the code samples, that task properties are accessed using
' the Properties of the TaskHost.
' Dim myTask As WebServiceTask = th.InnerObject as WebServiceTask

The properties and methods of the WebServiceTask are available using the TaskHost variable, th.

Example

The following code sample creates a new WebServiceTask by using the constructor.

WebServiceTask myTask = new WebServiceTask();
Dim myTask As WebServiceTask = New WebServiceTask()
