Parameters

lOutputID
The ID of the IDTSOutput90 object.

lOutputColumnID
The ID of the IDTSOutputColumn90 object.

lExternalMetadataColumnID
The ID of the IDTSExternalMetadataColumn90 object.

bMatch
Specifies whether the IDTSOutputColumn90 column should be set to match the IDTSExternalMetadataColumn90 column.

Return Value

The IDTSExternalMetadataColumn90 that is mapped to the output column.

Remarks

Call this method to map an IDTSOutputColumn90 column to a column in the ExternalMetadataColumnCollection of the output. If the bMatch parameter is true, and the data type properties of the two columns differ, the component will modify the data type properties of the output column to match the properties of the external metadata columns.
