Cube Properties Dialog Box (SSAS)

Use the Cube Properties dialog box in SQL Server Management Studio to set the properties of a cube in an Analysis Services database. You can display the Cube Properties dialog box by right-clicking a cube in Object Explorer and selecting Properties.

Options

Term Definition

Name

Displays the name of the cube.

ID

Displays the identifier of the cube.

Description

Displays the description of the cube.

Create Timestamp

Displays the date and time the cube was created.

Last Schema Update

Displays the date and time the metadata for the cube was last updated.

Script Cache Processing Mode

Select the processing mode to use for the script cache of the cube. For more information about the values for this property, see ScriptCacheProcessingMode.

Processing Mode

Select the processing mode to use for the cube. For more information about the values for this property, see ProcessingMode.

Storage Location

Type the folder to use as the default storage location for measure groups and partitions associated with the cube, or click the ellipsis button (...) to display the Browse for Remote Folder dialog box to select a folder. State

Displays the processing state of the cube. For more information about the values for this property, see State.

LastProcessed

Displays the date and time the cube was last processed.
