HttpClientConnection.OpenRead Method

Opens a readable stream for the data to be downloaded from the resource specified by the ServerURL property.

A Stream used to read data from the resource.

Example

The following code example creates an HttpClientConnection then calls OpenRead to pull the data into a stream

Stream stream = null;
HttpClientConnection request = httpConn as HttpClientConnection;
stream = request.OpenRead();

Dim stream As Stream =  Nothing 
Dim request As HttpClientConnection =  httpConn as HttpClientConnection 
stream = request.OpenRead()

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Microsoft Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
