BulkInsertTask.BatchSize Property

Gets or sets the number of rows in each batch.

Namespace: Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Tasks.BulkInsertTask
Assembly: Microsoft.SqlServer.BulkInsertTask (in microsoft.sqlserver.bulkinserttask.dll)

Syntax

'Declaration
Public Property BatchSize As Long
public long BatchSize { get; set; }
public:
virtual property long long BatchSize {
    long long get () sealed;
    void set (long long value) sealed;
}
/** @property */
public final long get_BatchSize ()

/** @property */
public final void set_BatchSize (long value)
public final function get BatchSize () : long

public final function set BatchSize (value : long)

Property Value

A Long that indicates the number of rows in each batch.

Remarks

The default value is 0, which means the whole data file. If you set BatchSize to zero, the data is loaded in a single batch.

Example

The following example creates a BulkInsertTask, and then shows the default settings of the properties, including the BatchSize, by using the TaskHost. The sample then sets two fields to show how to set field values.
