RegisteredServer.Alter Method
Updates any RegisteredServer object property changes on the instance of Microsoft SQL Server.

Remarks
The Alter method updates any changes that have been made to the RegisteredServer object's properties since the RegisteredServer object was created or since the last Alter statement. The modifications are combined and sent to the instance of SQL Server in a single network trip to the instance of SQL Server.
This namespace, class, or member is supported only in version 2.0 of the Microsoft .NET Framework.

Any public static (Shared in Microsoft Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
