TraceReader.GetChars Method (Int32, Int64, Char[], Int32, Int32)

Gets a character array value from the record at the specified column position.

Parameters

  • ordinal
  • fieldoffset
  • buffer
    A Uint8 array that specifies the buffer into which to read the character array.
  • bufferoffset
    An Int32 value that specifies the index from which to start the read operation.
  • length
    An Int32 value that specifies the number of characters to read.

Return Value

An Int64 value that specifies the number of characters returned in the array.

Remarks

This namespace, class, or member is supported only in version 2.0 of the Microsoft .NET Framework.
