OleDbProviderSettings.IndexAsAccessPath Property

Gets or sets the Boolean property value that specifies whether the OLE DB provider indexes are used to fetch data.

Property Value

A Boolean value that specifies whether the OLE DB provider indexes are used to fetch data. If True, the OLE DB provider indexes are used to fetch data. If False (default), the SQL Server indexes are used to fetch data.

Remarks

If nonzero, SQL Server attempts to use indexes of the provider to fetch data. By default, indexes are used only for metadata and are never opened.

This namespace, class, or member is supported only in version 2.0 of the Microsoft .NET Framework.
