TransSubscription.SubscriberProviderString Property

OLE DB provider-specific connection string is used to connect to the data source for non-SQL Server Subscribers.

Property Value

A String value that can be a maximum of 4000 Unicode characters
The SubscriberProviderString property should only be set for non-SQL Server Subscribers.
The value of SubscriberProviderString is passed as the DBPROP_INIT_PROVIDERSTRING property to initialize the OLE DB provider.
The SubscriberProviderString property can only be retrieved by members of the sysadmin fixed server role, by members of the db_owner fixed database role, or by the user who created the subscription.
The SubscriberProviderString property can only be set by members of the sysadmin fixed server role or by members of the db_owner fixed database role.
Retrieving SubscriberProviderString is equivalent to executing sp_helpsubscription (Transact-SQL).
Setting SubscriberProviderString is equivalent to executing sp_addpushsubscription_agent (Transact-SQL) or sp_changesubscription (Transact-SQL).
The SubscriberProviderString property is available with SQL Server 2005 only.
This namespace, class, or member is supported only in version 2.0 of the .NET Framework.
