PipelineBuffer.SetUInt32 Method

Assigns an unsigned 32-bit integer to a buffer column.

This API is not CLS-compliant.

Namespace:  Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Pipeline
Assembly:  Microsoft.SqlServer.PipelineHost (in Microsoft.SqlServer.PipelineHost.dll)

Syntax

'Declaration
<CLSCompliantAttribute(False)> _
Public Sub SetUInt32 ( _
    columnIndex As Integer, _
    value As UInteger _
)
'Usage
Dim instance As PipelineBuffer
Dim columnIndex As Integer
Dim value As UInteger

instance.SetUInt32(columnIndex, value)
[CLSCompliantAttribute(false)]
public void SetUInt32(
    int columnIndex,
    uint value
)
[CLSCompliantAttribute(false)]
public:
void SetUInt32(
    int columnIndex,
    unsigned int value
)
[<CLSCompliantAttribute(false)>]
member SetUInt32 :
        columnIndex:int *
        value:uint32 -> unit
public function SetUInt32(
    columnIndex : int,
    value : uint
)

Parameters

  • columnIndex
    Type: System.Int32
    The index of the column in the buffer row.
  • value
    Type: System.UInt32
    The value assigned to the buffer column.

Remarks

The SetUInt32 method assigns an unsigned 32-bit integer to the buffer column specified by the columnIndex parameter.

This method works with the DT_UI4 data type in Integration Services.

If the value being assigned to the buffer column is not a 32-bit integer or the buffer column DataType is not DT_UI4, an UnsupportedBufferDataTypeException occurs.

For a complete list of Integration Services data types and the corresponding Get and Set methods of the PipelineBuffer class to use with each type, see Working with Data Types in the Data Flow.
