Property Value

Type: Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Smo.Agent.CompletionAction
A CompletionAction value that specifies whether to send a pager notification to an operator.

Remarks

If directed, Microsoft SQL Server Agent can send a page notification when execution succeeds or fails. Pager notifications can also be sent regardless of success or failure of the job. By default, pager notifications are not sent when execution finishes.

Examples

The following code example creates a job and specifies that a page notification is sent when the job is finished executing.

C#

Server srv = new Server("(local)");
Job jb = new Job(srv.JobServer, "Test Job");
jb.Create();
jb.Pagelevel = CompletionAction.Always

PowerShell

$srv = new-object Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Smo.Server("(local)")
$jb = new-object Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Smo.Agent.Job($srv.JobServer, "Test Job")
$jb.Create()
$jb.PageLevel = [Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Smo.Agent.CompletionAction]::Always
