Choose a Connection to a Data Source (New Table or Matrix and New Chart Wizards)

Use the Choose a connection to a data source page to select a data source for the table, matrix, or chart you want to create.

Options

  • Data Source Connections
    Lists the data source connections that you can select for the table, matrix, or chart. These connections may be in the report, from shared data sources on the report server, or from your list of recently used data sources.

  • Browse
    Select another data source that is not shown in the list. The data source must be on a report server.

  • New
    Create a new data source that is specific to the report.

  • Edit
    Modify the properties of an existing data source.
