An IConnectionSecurityContext object that represents the security context used by the Snapshot Agent to connect to the Publisher.

Remarks

Call Update after changing the properties on the returned IConnectionSecurityContext object.

The SnapshotGenerationAgentPublisherSecurity property can only be retrieved by members of the sysadmin fixed server role at the Publisher or by members of the db_owner fixed database role on the publication database.

Properties of the returned IConnectionSecurityContext object can only be set by members of the sysadmin fixed server role at the Publisher or by members of the db_owner fixed database role on the publication database.

Retrieving the SnapshotGenerationAgentProcessSecurity property is equivalent to executing sp_helppublication_snapshot (Transact-SQL).

Setting properties of the returned IConnectionSecurityContext object is equivalent to executing sp_addpublication_snapshot (Transact-SQL) or sp_changepublication_snapshot (Transact-SQL).

This namespace, class, or member is supported only in version 2.0 of the .NET Framework.
