Property Value

The size of the column if it is specified; otherwise null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Remarks

The properties Type and Size are used together to specify variable-length data types. For example, in SQL Server a column of type varchar(256) is represented by setting Type = "varchar" and Size = "256".
