String represents the search string in a Configuration Manager console search folder.

Remarks

The value of String is the search string that is compared against the provider object property that is defined by the SearchFolderDescriptionItem node PropertyName attribute.

There can be more than one string element defined as children of the parent SearchStrings node. These are compared with a logical OR operation. If any of the String elements match, the search has succeeded. For example, this allows you to search for SMS_Package objects with differing descriptions within the same SearchFolderDescriptionItem search description.
