The GetRebootDeadline method, in Configuration Manager, gets the software update reboot deadline.

HRESULT GetRebootDeadline(
     DATE*  pdtDeadline
);

Parameters

  • pdtDeadline
    Data type: DATE

    Qualifiers: [out, retval]

    Pointer to the date and time when a computer is rebooted after the installation of the software update. If the software update is optional or the reboot is suppressed, set this parameter to zero. The parameter must not be set to a null pointer.

Return Values

An HRESULT code. Possible values include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • S_OK
    The method succeeded.
