IUIResourceMgr::RebootSystem Method

The IUIResourceMgr::RebootSystem method, in Configuration Manager, initiates a system reboot.

Note

This method cannot be used to restart the system unless there is already is a pending system restart from Configuration Manager (for example, due to a software distribution program, a software update installation or NAP).

Parameters

None.

Return Values

An HRESULT code. Possible values include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • S_OK
    The method succeeded.
