ISmsClient::GetAssignedSite Method

The ISmsClient::GetAssignedSite method, in Configuration Manager, gets the currently assigned site of the client.

HRESULT GetAssignedSite(
        BSTR* sSiteCode
);

Parameters

sSiteCode
Data type: BSTR

Qualifiers: [out, retval]

Pointer to the site code of the currently assigned site of the client.

Return Value

An HRESULT code. Possible values include, but are not limited to, the following:

S_OK
The method succeeded.

SMSCLIENT_E_NOASSIGNEDSITE
The client is not currently assigned to a site.

WBEM_E_xxxx
An error occurred updating Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI).

Remarks

Local administrator privileges are required to call this method.
